Dry Skin Care Routine

Skin care is an essential part of personal hygiene and healthy living. Good and healthy skin not only improves your physical presence but also boosts your confidence. Taking care of your skin is not an overnight task. You need to do a lot more than just that. It is a gradual process. If you set up a routine for your skin, you need to stick to it religiously every day. If not, you will not find any visible results on your skin. Another reason why you must take care of your skin at any cost is because it helps combat the signs of aging that appear in the form of wrinkles, dark spots and pigmentation. Healthy skin will also steer clear of any skin ailments and diseases as well. Skin care might seem like a huge task but in the long run, you will be thanking your present self for making an effort.

Dry Skin Care Routine


There are various types of skin. You have normal skin, sensitive skin, oily skin, combination skin and dry skin. Each skin type has a different approach towards skin care. For example, applying cocoa butter on skin that is of the oily type would make it greasier. However, if you find a lotion that is not that oily, that can be used instead. These are important skin care choices that need to be made very carefully in order to do your skin a favour and taking care of it like the way it deserves. This article is dedicated to all those who have dry skin. There is a totally different procedure that needs to be followed. Basically, your skin does not retain the moisture it needs to look refreshed and feel healthy. Therefore, the basic idea is to nourish your skin. Here are some simple yet effective ways to take care of your dry skin:

    1. As dry skin can seem stretchy and parched, the first thing you need to do is hydrate it. Start off with a simple splash of water to get rid of the stretchy feeling.
    2. Following this, you need to use a moisturizing cleanser. It is always better to use organic products as chemicals can sometimes have the tendency of further drying out your skin.
    3. Apply a dry skin friendly toner. The toner helps your skin absorb any kind of moisture that is applied to the skin after that.
    4. Here is the crucial part. Providing what your dry skin really needs: moisture. Use a moisturizer that is great for both dry and sensitive skin.
    5. Always use a sun screen when you step out of your house.
    6. Before going to bed, find yourself some nice moisturizing oil such as the lippu oil to work on your dry skin everyday and make it supple and hydrated. Lippu oil is great for combating dry skin and making your skin appear much better.
    7. Drink a lot of water. It helps!
